The next they’re ignoring you, acting like they don’t know the word sit & generally just being a bit of a dick. If your dog is between 6–24 months (depending on their size)…welcome to adolescence!
Dealing with a teenage dog is stressful. But it’s no picnic for them either. Growth spurts, hormones, brain rewiring & sexual maturity all hit at once, the perfect storm for chaos. This is also when the tricky behaviours show up. Pulling on the lead, ignoring recall, jumping up or suddenly “forgetting” their training. Sound familiar?
That’s where my Terrible Teenager Program comes in.
It's designed to help you understand the reason(s) for your dog's behaviour, how to prevent it getting worse & most importantly, how to navigate through this challenging time.

The initial session takes place at you home and it's where we discuss your issues, implement prevention strategies and begin training.
After our initial session, you'll receive a personalised training plan explaining the steps you need to take, prevention tips and how to implement them.
2 follow-up training sessions to help you through your training plan and make any changes that might be required.
All training will be explained with step-by-step guides and video demonstrations.
WhatsApp/Email/Text support is available between sessions if you have any questions or need to clarify something.
I'll check-in with you a month after our last session to see how you and your puppy are getting on.

Adolescence usually begins around 5 months of age and depending on the size/breed of your dog, will usually end around 1 - 2 years of age.
Unfortunately, it's not possible for me to make that guarantee. Adolescence is a stage of growth and change, and every dog develops at their own pace.
What you will leave with is the knowledge, skills & confidence to continue building on your dog’s progress, plus a clear plan to keep moving forward long after our sessions have finished.
I like to think of puppy training as laying the foundations of a house. This is where we help them settle into their new life, learn new skills and make sure their initial learning is good.
Adolescent training is where the house is built or rather where the dog is built. During this phase, your puppy will display breed specific behaviour, learn what works and how to get what they want. It's during this phase that we focus on impulse control, exaggerated emotions, fear periods, reinforcing training and teaching your dog appropriate ways to get what they want.
