All too often, I hear from new owners of overseas rescue dogs after things have started to unravel. At first, everything seemed fine, just a few quirks here and there. But then came the growling, the barking & the tension. Before long, their dog’s behaviour was no longer simply “quirky”, it was concerning, even overwhelming.
The sad fact is that a lot of these issues could be prevented.
If owners were given the right information & guidance prior to their dogs arrival - specifically what makes (most) overseas rescue dogs unique, what they need to feel safe & most importantly what not to do.
That’s where ‘Before Your Rescue Arrives’ comes in. This consultation is built on years of hands-on experience helping owners unpick problems that didn’t need to happen.

This 2 hour session takes place in your home (or online). It's designed to help you prepare for your rescue dog's arrival, avoid common mistakes & to feel as prepared as possible..
Early Days Guidance
We'll cover how to navigate the first days and weeks with your new rescue, important body language cues and how to respond to them and what not to do.
