Available in-person across Banstead, Caterham, Crawley, Dorking, East Grinstead, Edenbridge, Epsom, Godstone, Horsham, Redhill, Reigate, Sevenoaks, Westerham, and more. Other areas may be possible with mileage charge. Also available online.

What training methods do you use?

All methods are force-free and based on positive reinforcement, focusing on reward, consistency, and supporting your puppy’s emotional development without fear or intimidation.

What happens after the preparation session?

You’ll receive access to the online learning hub, ongoing email and WhatsApp support for 4 weeks, and membership in the private community to help carry out and adapt the advice.

How long before my puppy arrives can I book?

You can book from the moment you’ve reserved your puppy until shortly before arrival. Ideally, schedule 1–2 weeks before so you have time to act on the advice.

Can I combine Puppy Preparation with the Well Trained Puppy program?

Yes. Bundling both gives seamless support before and after your puppy arrives, plus 20% off the combined cost.

Welcoming a puppy into your life is such an exciting time!

You’ve chosen your puppy, the pickup date has been booked & you’re really excited about your new arrival but then the worry sets in ...what do we do on the journey home? Where should they sleep? Should you let them cry it out? How do you introduce them to people?

It’s totally normal to have concerns. Unfortunately, finding answers to your concerns can leave you even more confused. Google is full of conflicting advice, well meaning friends and family contradict each other & whilst the puppy books make sense the confusing. What you need is a single point of advice and guidance, ideally from someone experienced in helping owners with their puppies.

That’s where I come in.

This puppy preparation session is suitable from the time you've chosen your puppy to the day you bring them home. After that you'll want to check out either 'Back on Track' or 'Well Trained Puppy'.

Puppy Preparation is a 2 hour, in-person session that takes place in the comfort of your home. It's designed to give you the peace of mind knowing your following advice from an experienced dog trainer & behaviourist.

Early Days Guidance

From picking your puppy up, the journey home & how to handle the first few days & nights. You'll have clear plan for helping your new puppy settle into their new home.

The major benefit to 1:1 puppy training is that all the advice, training & recommend is specific to you and your puppy. Whereas the advice given in a puppy is usually generic & not specific to the issues you face.

Another benefit is convenience and flexibility when it comes to booking your sessions. Instead of a weekly time that might be difficult to make, using our online booking system you are able to schedule your sessions at a time that works for you.
