We all picture the perfect dog, calm on walks, friendly with others & easy to live with
But sometimes things don’t go to plan.
Your puppy might be nipping constantly, leaving you exhausted instead of enjoying the early months. As they grow, adolescence can bring new frustrations like ignoring recall or pulling on the lead. Some dogs develop deeper issues such as anxiety, which can make everyday life feel uncertain & for overseas rescues, the main challenge is helping them feel safe & settled in an unfamiliar home.
I provide 1:1 training & behaviour support in Horsham, using a holistic approach that focuses in identifying the root cause(s) of behavioural issues & helping owners achieve long lasting behaviour change.

"I would like to thank Anthony for helping me and my dog Bentley. Bentley is definitely a better dog. He's not stressed, more relaxed and happier. I can now have other dogs in the house. I can walk where other dogs are. And many more things he can now do. Would I recommend Anthony? Definitely without a second thought. Thank you so very much."

About Me
Hi, I’m Anthony, a qualified & experienced dog trainer & behaviourist. I started Buttons & Leash in 2019, after struggling to find the right help for my Belgian Shepherd puppy, Tywin, who arrived with multiple behavioural issues after being rescued.
This struggle showed me just how difficult life with a challenging dog can be and how valuable it can be to work with someone who not only understands your struggles but can also guide you through them.
So, if you’re looking to work with someone who’s not only experienced but has also been in your shoes, you’re in the right place.

Looking for the right help?
We'll work well together if..
You want to work with an experience and qualified behaviourist who only uses up-to-date, force free methods.
You want to work with someone who can help you identify the root cause(s) of your dog's behaviour rather than a quick fix.
You are committed to helping your dog and understand that it takes time and patience - you just need the right support.
You want to work with someone who you can trust to have your best interests and your dog as their priority.
