Welcoming a puppy into your life is such an exciting time!
You’ve chosen your puppy, the pickup date has been booked & you’re really excited about your new arrival but then the worry sets in ...what do we do on the journey home? Where should they sleep? Should you let them cry it out? How do you introduce them to people?
It’s totally normal to have concerns. Unfortunately, finding answers to your concerns can leave you even more confused. Google is full of conflicting advice, well meaning friends and family contradict each other & whilst the puppy books make sense the confusing. What you need is a single point of advice and guidance, ideally from someone experienced in helping owners with their puppies.
That’s where I come in.
This puppy preparation session is suitable from the time you've chosen your puppy to the day you bring them home. After that you'll want to check out either 'Back on Track' or 'Well Trained Puppy'.

What's Included & Price
Puppy Preparation is a 2 hour, in-person session that takes place in the comfort of your home. It's designed to give you the peace of mind knowing your following advice from an experienced dog trainer & behaviourist.
Early Days Guidance
From picking your puppy up, the journey home & how to handle the first few days & nights. You'll have clear plan for helping your new puppy settle into their new home.
Your Questions Answered
Any questions you have about your new puppy will be answered here.
Online Learning Hub
After our session, you'll receive access to an online learning area where you can access guides covering everything we spoke about & more!

Direct support is available via email/WhatsApp for the first 4 weeks after your puppy arrives.

Puppy preparation is a 2 hour session that takes place in your home and is designed to help you prepare for your puppy’s arrival. We’ll discuss any questions you have and I’ll also offer suggestions on how to arrange your home.
After our session, you get access to your own learning hub area which contains all the information we covered during the session and a few bonus guides.
You’ll also get direct email/WhatsApp support to me for the first 4 weeks after your puppy has arrived.
The main topics covered are bringing your puppy home, handling night times, daytime routine, how to introduce people and dogs to your puppy, socialisation, recommend items, toilet training basics, puppy proofing your home, common mistakes and how to avoid and I’ll answer any questions you have.
Then you’re in luck! I provide two puppy training programmes:
Back on Track: This is a 1:1 programme designed to help puppy owners resolve specific issues such as biting, toilet training, sleep, lead walking, recall, jumping up etc.
Well Trained Puppy: This is a 1:1 puppy life skills programme, designed to give owners and their pups the skills and knowledge to navigate life together.
Owners who take part in puppy preparation get a discount on both of the above services (accessible via the learning hub).
Puppy preparation is all about helping owners be as ready and prepared for their new pups arrival, whereas puppy training classes are for after you have your puppy and focus more on training.
Puppy preparation is perfect for owners who want to make sure they are doing everything they can to have a smooth transition with their new puppy.
